Christmas in this part of the world is one of the most important holidays, celebrated merrily and solemnly. It's a beautiful time of the year we all long for. A time that smells of homemade pierogi and beetroot soup.  Feel the magic of Christmas in Poland and the Czech Republic!

We operate groups that are much smaller than other tour operators, which makes our tours even more special and really allows us to give a personal touch to them.

During the welcome dinner you will meet your Tour Manager and fellow travelers

We will leave Warsaw in the morning. First we will head for Częstochowa, where we will pay a visit to the Sanctuary...

of Black Madonna, one the most famous and important places for Catholics not only from Poland.

Our next stop will be Miechów, where there's a special Christmas bauble factory. You may be surprised to know that Poland is one of the biggest producers of Christmas ornaments in the world! And today we will visit one of the manufacturers. You will have a chance to see how baubles are made and also purchase some (perfect Christmas gift!).

Arrival in Kraków in the evening and dinner at your hotel.

You will start the day with special gingerbread making workshops in one of the restaurants in Kraków....
The rest of the morning will be free. However, for the afternoon we have prepared something special- a walk around the Old Town with lanterns with a local guide. You will learn more about the history of the city which is the most famous Polish tourist destination.

The rest of the evening will be left free to discover the local Christmas market.

Today we will head for Zakopane - the Polish winter capital. You will see the highest mountains in Poland...
and experience local folklore. Your visit will start with a funicular ride to the top of Gubałówka. From the peak you can see the panoramic view of the Tatra mountains.

Later we will enjoy a walk around the town and admire the beauty of the local highlander architecture. After a shopping break, be prepared for a fairytale-like winter sleigh ride with a bonfire and food! (And if for any reason there's not enough snow, we'll take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage).
breakfast, bonfire

We will leave Zakopane in the morning after breakfast and we’ll reach Wrocław after approx. a 5-hour drive...
Once we get to Wrocław, we will have a guided tour of the Old Town.

In the evening you will have an opportunity to discover the next Christmas market, ranked many times among the best Christmas markets in Europe.

You will start the day with a half-day tour of Prague. We cannot miss the famous Charles Bridge...

Lesser Town and the Old Town Square with an amazing astronomical clock. You will also see the Prague Castle and the Municipal House.

In the evening you should try the specialites from the local Christmas Market located just in the Old Town.

My father and I recently returned from our Ultimate Poland tour and we really cannot express how impressed we were with the RealPoland coordination, staff, accommodations, food, local guides and transportation. The itinerary was filled with visits to key historic and cultural sites along with some fun activities like making our own Polish pottery and a pierogi workshop - admittedly, my father and I still need to work on these skills. The accommodations were top class European standard hotels. Breakfast each day was provided in the hotels and dinners were pre-planned at various interesting restaurants in whichever city or town we happened to be staying. Lunch was on us, this may seem daunting but the tours are arranged so that a convenient lunch break happens in a square or Old Town area with an ample choice of cafes and restaurants. As for the Polish cuisine, don’t expect kielbasa and pierogis for every meal - they like to mix it up for you.

Our original intent for taking the tour was to learn more about our Polish heritage. We asked to add an extra day on the end so that we could visit my great grandparents village - the Real Poland staff took care of everything for us, an extended itinerary with hotel, transportation and a local guide.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the beautiful county of Poland. It's clean, safe and very affordable. Additionally, the staff at RealPoland are amazing - especially all of the "Magdas". If you are considering a trip to Poland and are worried about getting around or finding the right tour I would highly recommend RealPoland they are first class.

Natalia' and Magda's quick responsiveness was tremendous! Overall, my total xperience with Real Poland was excellent. They were helpful during setting up my tour plans, and also very helpful when we had to cancel. Natalia researched my grandfather and found lots of information about him that I did not know. I am satisfied with the work she did and I look forward to traveling to Poland in the future. I hope to visit the area where he was from and maybe meet some of my relatives.
