Hello, Australia! Have you been wondering what Poland is like? You can have a foretaste of this fascinating country without having to travel across the ocean! Just make sure to be in Melbourne on November 17 and find your way to Federation Square that is going to transform into Poland in a nutshell for the 15th Polish Festival!
Fed Square is about to drown in colors and sound, as Polish dancers in their colorful clothes enter the stage. And if you can’t keep your feet still when you hear Polish music, the good news is that you’ll be able take part in Polish dance lessons throughout the day.
There’ll be Polish food and drinks to taste, and Polish goods to buy. As you feast your eyes on the beautiful amber jewellery, admire Bolesławiec pottery and unique items hand-made by local artisans, your children and grandchildren can have their faces painted, try on Polish costumes or take part in arts and crafts activities (how about making a Wawel Dragon mask?)
And once you fall in love with Poland, its culture and cuisine, we’ll be there to help. Drop by RealPoland’s stall, meet representatives of our team and learn all about tourist attractions, sightseeing and tours in Poland! We can’t wait to meet you there!
The Festival takes place on November 17 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. To learn more about the program, the food, the artists and performers, learn some basic Polish phrases and see the venue map, see the 2019 Program.
